When Kaylen and Amelia called me to see if I'd do a girl weekend with them and take portraits for their family (and for me to keep it secret as a gift), I jumped at the chance of course. We laughed as we remembered the fun times we had when they were youngens and I would do photo shoots with them as their babysitter (and older "saster"). Amelia is an amazing makeup artist in Chicago, so Kaylen got some of her friends to model and they did a great job. We ended the day with a good night out, checking out some local eateries in Indy. Great times indeed. Love these girls!

If I have any advice for photographers, please keep doing things you love, with the people you love. Take a weekend and get together with friends and give them some awesome shots of themselves. You'll never regret the fun you'll share together without the pressure of getting each shot that a client wants. Practice and fun make a great combination for a fantastic weekend.
